Azad Kashmir Earthquake Tsunami Disaster

Ten months after Tsunami disaster, the Pakistan earthquake rocked the region, killing more than 74,000 people and injuring over 106,000. Again, the poor were the most affected. Over 200,000 lives were lost and over a million more were forever changed in the Indian Ocean tsunami of December 26, 2004. Two years later, recovery is far from complete, but survivors continue to rebuild their lives and find hope in the wake of tragedy.
